Review: L’Oreal EverCreme Shampoo + Conditioner

I’ve professed my love for the Pureology Hydrate range too many times to count, but is there a new kid in town? I didn’t want to bring huge bottles of shampoo/conditioner with me to Canada and I just thought I’d buy an inexpensive duo once I got arrived at my Mom’s. I was browsing the aisles and happened to come across the L’Oréal EverCrème Intense Shampoo and Conditioner, which was on sale for under $4.00 at the time. I noticed that it was Sulphate Free, Paraben Free, 100% Vegan and the caramel-vanilla scent is INCREDIBLE. There were two versions (the regular one and the intense version), but because I have extremely dry hair  I went for the intense version.

I didn’t expect to fall in love with these products because I’m so hooked on my Pureology, but from the first use I knew this stuff was great. I’ve been using it for almost two weeks now and I continue to be impressed with the results. My hair is softer than ever before and I find it a lot easier to blow dry because it starts off a lot smoother.

I can’t say this will completely replace my Pureology, but it might be nice to switch between the two brands. The L’Oréal haircare is a fraction of the price of my Pureology and is by far the best drugstore haircare I have ever tried. They have a few more products in the range such as the Deep Nourishing Masque which is supposed to be amazing, the Leave-In Spray and the Cleansing Conditioner, which looks very intriguing!

Have you ever tried anything from the L’Oréal Ever ranges?

PS-I’m not sure if the products I’ve linked to are exacltly the same as the North American version? The packaging and name is slightly different, but it seems the same? If anyone knows please let me know!

I’ve used the EverCreme conditioner in the past, and I remember the scent being a very nice and sweet one. Because my hair is super curly, I need as much hydration as I can get! I liked it a lot because it kept my hair soft and relatively frizz free, but I’m always on the hunt for something bigger and better, so I’ve never repurchased. It was really nice though! xx

These definitely sound like they’re worth a try! I haven’t used any Loreal shampoo or condition, only other hair products so these are now on my must-try list!

I’ve testing the L’Oréal Everforce categories, but over time, I found my hair to greasy, their texture us not really and I’ve arrested because of that !

I just got the EverCurl shampoo and conditioner last week, and so far I love it! My hair is super dry and a little wavy, and this sytem really moisturizes my hair and brings out the wave. I also use the EverCurl Cream Gel and the EverCreme leave in spray. Good products!

Just found these in Australia and picked them up today on your recommendation – very excited to try them out soon! :)

    • Jo F

I have looked everywhere for these in Australia. do you mind if i ask where you got them? and are they called the same thing?

      • Aislin M

I found them at my Woolworths, they have the whole range but you may have to search the bottom shelves as they’re not too easily noticeable.
Since writing this I’ve also picked up the mask and the leave in conditioner-like spray – a big fan of the range :)

        • bellexo

yeah, i think it’s the only place that sells the evercreme range? but they don’t stock the intense nourishing version, which i’d love to try arghh :(

  • Chandra

Pretty sure these are called ‘EverRiche’ in the UK!
They smell amazing – I reserve the shampoo for a Sunday treat :)

Does it weigh your hair down? I love having soft hair, who doesnt, but they often suck the volume out of my hurr.

  • LollySue

I am currently using the EverCurl line and I love all of the products. It has grape seed oil which moisturizes but doesn’t way down my fine hair and it smells absolutely delicious!

  • Afannamedminjee

I bought this after watching your July Favorites video and I noticed a drastic difference in my hair after one wash too! The smell is to die for (and the smell seems to last in my hair, which is really rare for me) and it just made my hair really shiny in the healthy-not-greasy way! Love, love, love it and I thank you for the recommendation!

  • Luciana

Thank you so much for this review Estee. I tried this for the first time yesterday and already can tell the difference! Love it! Thank you!

  • fuckessiebutton

So Kate (ghostparties) got this sent this to her and you want to claim you bought it? yeah right, bitch.

    • bellexo

Not all bloggers get sent the same products, dumb bitch.

  • Jane Beljo

I think I’m going to purchase this duo when I finish my Klorane shampoo with oat milk. xo
