Most people my age go out and party their Friday nights away, but not me. I’m such a homebody, so relaxing with a movie, cup of tea and a hot shower is literally my perfect evening. I’ve been having some trouble sleeping lately and I find taking a shower before bed really calms me down and allows me to have a full night’s sleep (some of the time). Here are a few products I’ll be putting to use this evening!
Rituals Hand Therapy Hand Scrub-£10
My hands have been very dry for the past month or so. I’ve been guzzling back litres of water, but something a bit more instant has been in order. I love this hand scrub from Rituals because it’s exfoliating, but still hydrating. Great for any time of day, but I use it most at night before my regular hand cream.
Mandara Spa Foot Cream-£4.00
I didn’t know what to expect with this £4.00 foot cream because I rarely stray from The Body Shop, but this is excellent. The formula sinks in quickly, but is very rich and hydrating. It smells kind of fruity, which is a nice change from standard peppermint. Best part? You can pick it up at your local Sainsbury’s!
Garnier Ultimate Beauty Oil-£6.80
I do love to use oils on my body and hair, so when I saw the scent was almond + rose I knew it would be love. Oils are great for some extra moisture and I especially love using them before bed. This one is great because it has a handy spray top and isn’t too harsh on the wallet!
PS-I lovvve the scent!
Estée Lauder Advanced Night Repair II-£44.00
I mentioned that my hands have been very dry recently and the same goes for my face. I’ve been opting for a night time serum that offers that little extra boost of moisture and hydration. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the original Advanced Night Repair (I can’t even remember why because I tried it so long ago), but this new formula has been really nice. It’s lightweight, but I notice my skin looks refreshed in the morning.
What are your Friday night plans?
