Melvita Extraordinary Waters-£15.50
The first time I tried the Melvita Extraordinary Waters I was completely smitten. It has since become a not-so-secret skincare item that makes sense of the rest of my routine. I always felt like there was something missing from my skincare routine and when I tried this for the first time I had a bit of an “AHAa! moment”. Typically I apply the hydrating water with my finger tips right after I get out of the shower for an instant moisture surge. It sinks in almost immediately and leaves my skin ready for moisturiser/serum etc.
What exactly is an Extraordinary Water?
Extraordinary Waters use Hyaluronic Acid (the magic ingredient) with various plant antioxidants to moisturise and care for dry/dull skin. It’s got the consistency of a thick, gel-water, which sinks into the skin immediately. There are three different types targeted towards different skincare concerns.
Rose Extraordinary Water:
I love to use this one in the morning because it’s light-weight and almost feels firming on the skin. I love rose skincare products and when I’m having an all-out rose-a-thon this is like the icing on the cake.
Orange Blossom Extraordinary Water:
I find this one to be the most hydrating of all three. It’s got organic orange extract and fig mucilage (?) to intensely hydrate dry skin. Love this one in the winter!
Narcissus Extraordinary Water:
Narcissus extract and papaya-lemon-olive are aimed towards lightening dark spots and brightening the complexion. Great for morning or evening.
