Bobbi Brown Tinted Moisturising Balm ‘Alabaster’-£31.50
It’s getting colder in England, so naturally I had to bust this bad boy out again! If you remember my raves from last year, you’ll know that I adore this ultra-moisturising base. If it’s coverage you’re after this is NOT the one for you, but if you just need some slight tone correcting with LOTS of moisture this could be calling your name. I applied it with the Real Techniques Sponge which worked beautifully (I’m loving that sponge) for achieving an ultra-natural base.
Clarins Ever Matte Mineral Powder ‘Opal’-£26.00
Because the Bobbi Brown Balm is a very rich product, I notice that I do need to powder through the t-zone area to ditch the dreaded shine. Since finishing my Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot I decided to go back to one of my old favourites! Forgot how much I love this stuff and it’s great with the B.B. Balm because it adds some extra coverage.
Dior Hydrating Concealer ‘Ivory’-£21.00
More hydration! Are you sensing a theme here? This doesn’t give as much coverage as my beloved NARS Creamy Concealer, but I like it under my eyes and around my nose which tends to have dry skin. Amaaazzzinggg concealer if you have dry skin!
The Body Shop Blush ‘Ginger’-£8.00
Although it’s colder I haven’t been going for dark plums as much as I thought I would. It’s all about the neutral pinks lately and this shade in particular is lovely. These blushes are very easy to blend and are slightly on the sheer side so it’s great if you want something natural.
Maybelline Define-A-Brow ‘Medium Brown’
I got this the last time I was home in Canada, so I’m not sure if it’s available in the UK yet (I haven’t seen it). This is an excellent brow pencil because it’s so slim and makes it very easy to get an accurate shape.
theBalm Nude ‘tude Eyeshadow Palette-£26.00
I had so many questions about the eyeshadows I was wearing in my latest vlog, so now the secret is revealed! I had the shimmery pink shade ‘stand-offish’ all over the lid and the matte brown shade ‘sultry’ in the crease. I adore this palette and get so much use out of it.
Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain ‘Honey’-£7.99
I’ve always liked Honey, but this month I am LOVING it. It actually looks pretty dark on my lips, but it still passes as a neutral shade and goes with virtually any makeup look. They’re pretty hydrating considering they’re a “stain”, but when I start to feel the gloss going away I re-apply and it’s good as new!
If you’ve made it this far down you’re in luck! I’m giving away one of the Nude ‘tude palettes to one person (international giveaway) who leaves a comment down below saying “I love eyeshadow palettes!”-be sure to leave your email address in the comment as well. Hope you’re having a great day!
