It feels like years since I’ve had the desire to bust out some cat-eye liner, but with the discovery of a new product I find myself wanting to line my lashes everyday. This look has been my go-to makeup routine so far this month and features some old and new products.
Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation ‘1.0’-£27.00
This is one of the newer products, but it was only a matter of time before I bought the Naked Skin Foundation to go along with all of my Naked Palettes. Gotta complete the collection right? Urban Decay describes this as a luminous demi-matte finish, which feels weightless on the skin. After reading more about it online I already knew this would make its way into my top favourite foundations…if it worked that is. So…did it work? YUP. It’s light, gives just the right amount of coverage and is build-able if you need it to be, illuminating and natural looking-it ticks all of the boxes. More on this soon…
MAC Mineralize Skin Finish Natural ‘Light’-£22.00
Here’s an oldie, but a goodie! I used to swear by this powder because it’s matte without looking flat (a little phrase I used to say when talking about this powder). I’ve really been falling back in love with it.
I always like to use The Body Shop Honey Bronzer in ’01’ to add a little life to my complexion. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again…if you are fair skinned you NEED this bronzer.
theBalm Blush ‘Frat Boy’-£16.00
theBalm is fast becoming one of my favourite makeup brands and I’ve been loving their Frat Boy blush lately. I’ve blogged about it many times before, but it really is the perfect pink/peach blush. Topped off with a little Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter and you’re good to go.
Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner ‘Intsense Black’-£13.00
I mentioned this liner in my recent Sephora Beauty Haul & since then I have used it every.single.day. This is *dare I say it* the best liquid liner I have ever used? Hell, I’m tempted to say it’s the best liner I’ve ever used full stop! What makes this so amazing is that it’s precise, VERY black, user-friendly and seriously does not come off. I applied this once at 7AM, was out in the rain, doing household chores, out for dinner etc. and it looked just as good at midnight as it did in the morning. I like to add a bit of the Milani Liquid Eye Pencil in my waterline for extra boldness.
I’ve really been loving the Soap & Glory Thick & Fast Mascara because it layers up really well and gives intense volume. I also like to use the Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara for more precise mascara application to the bottom lashes.
*I forgot to photograph my lip product which was the Maybelline Colour Elixir in Captivating Carnation. Read more about my obsession with the Elixirs here! And clearly this photograph was taken pre-eyebrow threading appointment…
Do you wear liner everyday?
