I don’t normally get too excited for celebrity makeup collaborations, but for some reason when it’s a drugstore makeup brand I always get so curious! I was recently given the chance to try out some things from the new Rita Ora for Rimmel collection and I’m very impressed. There are 12 brand new 60 Second nail polish shades (£3.60 each), which are a great formula because they dry quite fast-as the name would suggest, heh…There isn’t one colour in the range that I dislike, but I thought I would narrow it down to my top 5 favourite shades. Don’t Be Shy, Breakfast In Bed, Do Not Disturb, Let’s Get Nude & Orgasm. The nude shade is just adorable and Orgasm makes me VERY happy (no pun intended)…
The collection also includes 5 new shades of the Rimmel Lasting Finish Colour Rush Balms (£6.99), which I fell in love with a few months ago. They’re similar to lots of the other chubby-stick dupes out there, but these ones smell like vanilla (most seem to smell like mint) and I find these ones to be particularly moisturising.
The balms are all hues of cool-toned pinks, so I think it would have been nice to have some variation in there. Maybe an orange-coral toned one? That being said, cool-toned pinks are one of my favourite shades to wear so I can’t complain too much-they’re all beautiful.
