repurchase OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Let me start off by telling you something you already know about me…I have a lot of makeup. PHEWF! Glad I could get that off my chest! Jokes aside, the reason I’m mentioning my hoarding tendencies is because when I decide to repurchase an item it means it’s good. Like, really good. I’ve accumulated a few repurchases and I thought it might be useful to put it in a neat little blogpost.

Urban Decay Setting Spray-£20.00
My friend Amelia is to blame for introducing me to this product when she got it for me as a gift a couple of years ago (time flies)! I was never much of a setting spray kind of gal (mainly because I didn’t think they did anything), but I’m a total convert and use it every.single.day. This is the All-Nighter version, but Urban Decay make a couple different variations including De-Slick Oil-Control & Chill which apparently chills the surface of your makeup to keep it looking fresh (note to self: I must try that!).

Beauty Blender-£16.00
I swore I’d never buy another Beauty Blender after losing it awhile ago, but I had a weak moment and felt myself craving the results that only the Beauty Blender can provide. The Real Techniques Makeup Sponge is verrrry similar, but it’s seen better days, so I made the decision to go back to the original. I especially like using sponges like this to apply my foundation/tinted moisturiser in the warmer months because the finish is natural and flawless.

Soap & Glory One Heck of a Blot Setting Powder-£12.00
I love testing out new foundations and setting powders, but this is one of my top favourites. We all have those products we reach for when we don’t want to mess around and need to get the job done….this is one of mine. It sets my makeup without looking powdery and it’s translucent so I don’t need to worry about the colour.

Hourglass Brow Sculpting Pencil-£26.00
I ran out of my beloved Hourglass Brow Pencil and not having it around made me realise just how much I adore it. I go back and forth between this and the Anastasia Brow Wiz depending on how my brows are feeling that day (we have a conversation before the makeup application begings), so this is a must-have in my makeup collection.

Anastasia Clear Brow Gel-£16.50
Pretty pricey for a clear brow gel…is probably what you’re thinking right now. Yeah, but let me explain why this is a repurchase. Unlike other drugstore clear mascaras this one is specifically formulated for brows. It’s not gloopy and in fact you barely notice anything on the brush at all. Besides that, this gel is basically like cement and not wind, nor hail, nor sleet, nor tornado could move those brows once the gel has set.

L’Oréal Lumi Magique Concealer-£8.50
I’ve read lots of mixed reviews on this concealer because it doesn’t have the same amount of coverage of other concealers I’ve tried…which is exactly why I like it. I use this exclusively underneath my eyes to add a brightness, but only when my dark circles aren’t coming out to play. Alternatively I use my Bobbi Brown Corrector with a bit of this on top for the perfect combo.

I recently got the Anastasia Brow Gel and am finding it quite difficult to get into it. I find it a little too hardening? Do you have a tip on avoiding this?
