Another month is over! Did you get up to anything exciting in February? It may be wishful thinking, but I’m starting to smell Spring in the air which makes me very happy! As always, I gathered together my favourite beauty, non-beauty and lifestyle favourites of last month. I’m into a new tinted moisturiser, lots of bath products and a few new makeup items with gorrrrgeous packaging!

What type of Spring videos would you like to see from me?!

As per usual, I saved up all of my beauty trash in order to show you! Most of my empties are skincare items I’ve been loving but there are some other things thrown in too. I decided to try finishing up some of my makeup this year as well so once I have enough I’ll make a dedicated ‘makeup empties’ on my channel.

clinique clinique clinique clinique Another pre-haircut blogpost coming your way (sorry)! Today’s post is going to take a look at the new Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting products. As you know, I’m a huge lover of a good bronzer/highlight duo and with Spring coming up (yay) I got really excited to see a cream version of both. I think cream products typically look more natural and fresh and I personally find them generally easier to use.

As you can see from the photos it’s as easy as drawing a line just under the cheekbone with the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour in Curvy Contour. At first glance I thought this would be much too dark for me, but as I started blending (with my Sephora brush) it created the perfect contour shade. I think it’s great because it has the ability to be built up to a much more intense contour, but it can also be used with a light hand depending on how much blending you do. Once that was all done I did the same thing with the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Hefty Highlight, but this time along the tops of my cheekbones. It creates a very natural glow, so it’s perfect if you want something subtle and quick to use.

If you have tried these I’d love to know what you think of them! What do you think of cream cheek products?

Ra, ra, fashion baby!
Today’s video is a collection of a few fashion items I’ve picked up recently. It’s kind of a strange time of year because it’s too cold to be Spring, but I’m also not into buying super warm winter clothes. I managed to pick up some cool new boots, shoes and some outerwear pieces! Check out the video and let me know what you think!

What’s on your fashion wish list?

As you can tell this was pre-haircut but I thought I’d still do the post because I quite liked my makeup this day.

THE BASE
If you remember this Sephora Haul you may remember me talking about the Hourglass Hyaluronic Skin Tint. I was super excited to try it because I’m a lover of tinted moisturisers and this is definitely a good one! It provides more coverage than the Chantecaille Tinted Moisturiser (hella expensive) but it feels weightless on the skin. Another great thing is the fact that it’s fragrance free and oil free and while this is definitely an illuminating product it never seems to cross the line of too oily looking. I’ve also been testing out the new Omorovicza Mineral Touch Concealer which is a nourishing formula that hides blemishes without drawing attention to them. I used this under my eyes and on my blemishes as it’s great at camouflaging imperfections when using a lighter coverage base. A bit of my trusty Honey Bronzer and the Clinique Cheek Pop Blush in ‘Plum Pop’ to brighten my cheeks.

EYES and LIPS
To frame my eyes I used the L’Oréal Brow Artist Plumper because it’s quick but provides great definition to the brows. Next, a swish of the Clinique Chubby Stick in ‘Fuller Fudge’ all over the lids before applying Burberry’s Pale Barley and the new Benefit Roller Lash Mascara. This mascara has really caused a stir in the beauty blogging world because it seperates, and keeps a long lasting curl to the lashes. I’m still not sure if I prefer it to They’re Real but I’ll keep you in the loop once I make up my mind. To tie in the plum blush I went for a deep berry toned lipstick by Kiko called Amaranth.

…annnnd that’s pretty much it! I’m loving the look of a dark bronze eye and the lipstick is great because it’s dark without being dark.  Let me know what you think of this look!
