So I used a few things up. It’s been a couple of months since my last empties video in which I save my empty beauty products and combine them into one video filled with mini reviews! This time around it was mostly my “holy grail” items, but there were also a few newbies in the mix.

Do you love some of the same products as me?
What have you finished up lately?

Long time, no post! So sorry my regular beauty posts have kind of gone out the window while we’re on this trip, but they will be back soon! I thought I’d post a few photos from our time in Stockholm because we absolutely loved it there. As soon as we arrived Aslan and I knew it was going to be fantastic and it did not disappoint. To us, Stockholm seemed like New York, London, Paris and Rome all tucked into one stylish city (seriously…everyone is gorgeous there).

It will come as no surprise that we ate lots and lots and lots of FOOD so I’m going to highlight a few of my favourites.
First up food-wise is Herman’s. It is an all-you-can-eat, vegetarian buffet…omg. The food is out of this world AMAZING and it has a really comfortable atmosphere. People of all ages come together over some delicious, wholesome food…I wish there was a place like this in London!

Random ice-cream happens quite often on holiday (or is that just me?), but so does tea! We were told to go to Café Pascal for tea and judging from my crazy eyes you can tell that I wanted that tea pot…bad.

Aslan somehow discovered a sweets shop called Parlans which specialises in toffee. It’s a relatively new shop I think, but it feels like it has been there since the 1930′s. Really gorgeous atmosphere and I can confirm that this is well worth trying.

Overall, I think Stockholm is a great place to visit. If you’re thinking of going…go! You will have a great time!

What’s your favourite season? Do you have a bicycle that you LOVE?

charlotte charlotte charlotte charlotte Lately my obsession with Charlotte Tilbury has been at an all time high. I’ve searched the internet for interviews, tips, reviews and more all about this eccentric makeup goddess we all love. I’ve spoken about her in many videos before so I won’t delve too much into it here, but I love the woman. I’ve had such a great experience with all of her cosmetics that before I went away on our Scandinavian adventure I decided to try one of her hyped skincare products called Charlotte’s Magic Cream. So what’s so magic about this stuff?

Charlotte’s Magic Cream
Like I mentioned, I watch a lot of Charlotte’s tutorials and interviews online where she showcases her products. This woman needs to get on QVC because she could sell me a dirty dishcloth, but I digress. She always talks about this magic cream as a staple in her skincare routine and that although it’s not technically a primer she uses it as a base for makeup too.

It’s got all of our favourite ingredients in there (yeah I’m lookin’ at you hyaluronic acid, damask rose water, rosehip oil, spf 15) so it is a great all-rounder skincare product. I personally only use this in the daytime, but I have noticed a significant difference in my skin since using it. This is a rich cream, but because I’ve been using lighter night creams and lots of face masks lately it seems to really balance my skin out. I also find that if you just use a teeny bit of this stuff on areas that get a bit parched it will sort you out in a heartbeat.

I think I believe in the magic, people! I’m so glad I de-potted a bit of this into my travel skincare bag because it has come in so handy. It’s not something I use every single day, but I definitely indulge in a good slathering 3-4 times per week. I can already tell it will be the bomb dot com when winter rolls around and my skin feels like the sahara. It has the vibe of an old school moisturiser, but with a more modern texture/scent and the packaging is just plain saucy.

Have you ever tried Charlotte’s Magic Cream? What are your thoughts?

birthday birthdaybirthday birthday birthday birthday birthday Another year has slipped through my fingers and I have turned 24. I know 24 is still a “young” age, but I can’t help but be shocked when I hear myself say, “I’m 24 years old.” When did that happen? When did I stop being 17? I guess it’s just a natural part of growing up, but when your parents tell you to enjoy every second of life because it flies by…they are right.

Anyway, I was lucky enough to spend my birthday in Oslo, Norway this year. What a trip. Unfortunately it was pouring rain and since my birthday fell on a Sunday most things were closed here. Aslan and I decided to take it easy and have a very relaxed day wandering around. Of course I had to make food a focal point of my birthday so we went to a cute café for breakfast and had a MASSIVE lunch at Delicatessen for the second time this week.

We went to a couple of museums, wandered through The Vigeland Park and took some time to soak in the day. August is my favourite month of the year, which is weird because I always find it bittersweet. On one hand it’s still beautiful summer time, but there are always moments in August that remind you that it’s all coming to an end. Autumn is my favourite time of year, but I always feel as though summer is ripped away from us too soon.

Unfortunately, all of the bakeries had closed by the time we remembered to get some birthday cake so we had to make due with what we had and eat a chocolate bar from the hotel fridge.

If this is what getting older feels like I think I’m okay with it.
