DIY Lemon And Peppermint Foot Scrub

It seems like the warm weather is finally upon us, so I thought I’d get crafty and make a little DIY foot scrub. You can use any essential oil you want to (in place of the peppermint) & just play around with it! It was inexpensive to make and made a lot more than some of the ones you can buy for around $10.

YOU WILL NEED:

1 cup coarse sea salt
1/2 cup sweet almond oil
1-2 tsp lemon zest
3-4 drops peppermint essential oil (or however many you want)

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Mix it all together.
  2. Think to yourself “ Well, she did say it was easy”.

*I would suggest storing it in an air-tight jar & leaving it in the fridge

It’s a rough scrub due, but because of the almond oil, it leaves your feet feeling incredibly soft.

As I said in the video, this would make a great gift! You could put it in a cute jar, put a bow around it & voila! You could always substitute the almond oil for olive oil if that’s easier!

I really hope you enjoyed this post! Sometimes the simplest things work the best.

Do you think you’ll try this foot scrub? What other variations do you think could work well?
