Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR Multi-purpose Dry Oil Review

I love a multi-purpose product-especially one for hydration. These oils can be used on your body, hair, face, cuticles, etc. You know I love the Nuxe Lip Balm and branching into some of their other products didn’t disappoint. Although this is technically an oil, do not let yourself think this is “greasy” product by any means. Dry oils apply as a liquid and don’t take too long to…dry. The scent is very subtle, but feminine and lasts very well on my skin.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR

I’m going to talk about the “exciting” oil first-the bronze shimmery one; the Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse OR! At first, I thought this would be too dark/orange for my fair skin, but it doesn’t add any actual color to the skin. It was really hard to express the true beauty of this in a photo, but it’s basically got bronze/gold flecks suspended in a luxurious oil. It’s gorgeous just to look at in the bottle! When rubbed into the skin it catches the light in different ways making you look like a shimmering bronze goddess. It looks great on legs, arms, and chest, but most of all I love it in my hair!

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse

If shimmer isn’t your thing but you’re still wanting a multi-purpose oil I’d highly recommend the original version. I’ve had 3-4 samples of this product and have used them all up rather quickly. I use it in my hair, on my elbows, on my cuticles and sometimes as an entire body moisturizer after a bath. It smells the same as the bronze version (love it) and keeps my skin hydrated all day long. Don’t be afraid to put this in your hair because it really smooths everything out. As long as you don’t apply it directly to the roots it will not make your hair greasy looking.
